Responsibilities
- Lead execution of business development transactions, including mergers and acquisitions and partnerships
- Independently manage most phases of the transaction process under Managing Director supervision
- Facilitate strategy and transaction discussions with executive leadership
- Evaluate global market segment requirements and conduct gap analysis for business unit portfolios
- Collaborate with leadership to ensure stakeholder alignment and effective transaction approval processes
- Mentor and develop junior team members to enhance team capabilities
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, Accounting, Engineering, Life Sciences, or Medicine
- Minimum eight years of business development experience, with six years focused on mergers and acquisitions, licensing, divestitures, or joint ventures
- Experience across all phases of the transaction process, including analysis, target identification, structuring, valuation, due diligence, negotiation, and closing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with an emphasis on influence
- Prominent leadership in managing multiple projects within a matrix organization
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and the ability to simplify complex strategies into actionable steps
