Senior Developer SPM ServiceNow

About the role

Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions or applications.

Responsibilities

• Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems.
• Develops and applies software engineering practice and knowledge in research, design, development and maintenance.
• Exercises original thought and judgement, and supervises the technical and administrative work of other software engineers.
• Buils skills and expertise in his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role.
• Collaborates and acts as a team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of experience managing and configuring ServiceNow SPM modules, including Project Portfolio Management (PPM), Demand Management, Resource Management, and Financial Planning.
• Deep understanding of portfolio and program management best practices, and their practical application within ServiceNow to support strategic decision-making.
• Strong analytical skills to assess and optimize planning, prioritization, and execution processes across SPM domains.
• Proven ability to gather and translate business requirements from multiple stakeholders into clear and actionable technical specifications.
• Hands-on experience configuring roadmaps, investment funding, scoring models, and workflows to tailor SPM functionality.
• Experience in process mapping, gap analysis, and continuous improvement of strategic planning and execution operations.
• Fully fluent in Portuguese and English (both verbal and written); additional languages are a plus.
• Structured, organized, and detail-oriented in your approach to work.
