Senior Delivery Manager

Guide customer-centric product and platform teams toward high-quality, predictable delivery.
Facilitate structured, iteration-based delivery cycles across multiple teams.
Mentor less-experienced Delivery Managers.
Drive continuous improvement at both the team and program level.
Responsibilities
- Facilitate iteration ceremonies across multiple teams — Iteration Planning, Backlog Refinement, Iteration Reviews, and Retrospectives — and facilitate Quarterly Planning Events (QPE).
- Monitor delivery progress and flow across teams, identifying bottlenecks early, keeping commitments visible, and ensuring backlogs are ready for planning.
- Identify and remove obstacles at both the team and program level, escalating and partnering with Product Managers, Tech Leads, and others as needed; shield teams from unplanned work and mid-iteration scope changes.
- Address systemic issues impacting delivery effectiveness across multiple teams; coordinate shared services participation and foster cultures of transparency, collaboration, and accountability.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team and program productivity, flow, and quality; contribute to the development of Security Benefit’s delivery practice.
- Champion the delivery practice community within the organization — facilitate knowledge sharing, communities of practice, and cross-team collaboration.
- Define and track metrics to measure team effectiveness and delivery maturity; design tooling standards and mentor organizational adoption of delivery work management tools including Jira and Confluence.
Requirements
5+ years of hands-on Delivery Manager or Agile Coach experience, with a track record of facilitating iteration-based delivery across multiple teams.
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of iterative delivery principles and methodologies, with deep practical experience in structured delivery.
- Strong leadership, mentoring, facilitation, and coaching skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
- Experience with organizational adoption of delivery work management tools, including Jira and Confluence.
Skills
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM), Professional Scrum Master (PSM), or Advanced Certified Scrum Master (A-CSM) preferred.

Salary range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually
