Senior Corporate & Private Equity Associate
About the role
Join a nationally recognized private equity practice where your deal-making expertise meets cutting-edge resources and genuine opportunities for growth. We are seeking a driven associate with 5-7 years of acquisitions experience to help lead transactions for one of the most dynamic PE platforms in the country.
Responsibilities
- Represent over 200 private equity firms and portfolio companies in M&A and financings
- Work across the full investment lifecycle, from early-stage investments to post-investment support
- Collaborate with clients and colleagues to quarterback transactions
- Advise on a wide range of matters, including healthcare private equity and independent sponsor work
- Operate with an investment banking mindset, identifying opportunities, and building relationships
- Utilize Harvey AI to enhance research, drafting, and analysis
Requirements
- Five to seven years of experience in acquisitions for private equity funds
- Demonstrated ability to quarterback transactions
- A strong academic record and exceptional written and oral communication skills
- A collaborative spirit and genuine enthusiasm for working with innovative technology platforms
- Must be licensed to practice law in New York

Pay
$365,000 - $415,000
Schedule
Competitive salary with hours and merit bonus opportunities and billable hours credit for pro bono work.
