About the role
The Consulting Services Sales Architect, Sr serves as a trusted advisor and subject matter expert to develop and design implementation solutions in support of consulting engagements and/or sales opportunities within our EDI Product.
Responsibilities
- Coach and mentor Prof Services Sales Architects ensuring consistent and high standards of service delivery.
- Support sales teams by helping develop consulting engagement structure, proposals, and statements of work.
- Conduct current state capabilities and process assessments across business functions and apply best practices, industry research, and competitor research to drive an optimized future state capability and process architecture.
- Absorb and prepare for prospect discovery sessions, demos, and planning meetings.
- Prepare and provide requirements definition or estimates for quoting implementations.
- Ensure a full and proper handoff of contracts from sales process to implementation process.
- Meet or exceed annual sales targets.
- Participate and attend User Group and customer functions to reinforce customer rapport; such as product demos, value add workshops, customer events.
Requirements
- Proven ability to close new business
- Relevant experience in the Computer Software industry
- Confident and experienced negotiator able to drive revenue

- Excellent presentation skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and executive staff

- Knowledge of revenue forecasting
