Senior Cloud Operations

As our Senior Cloud Operations engineer, you own the AWS environments and automations that every one of those engagements runs on. Unlike our Forward Deployed Engineers, Architects, and Delivery Leads, you're not embedded on a build team or in a customer's codebase; you keep the cloud foundation underneath all of it stable, secure, and cost-controlled.

Responsibilities

AWS Cloud Architecture & Engineering

• Own and manage all of Dynagentic's AWS instances and accounts: compute, networking, storage, databases, containers, serverless, and security.
• Design and maintain our AWS account structure, IAM strategy, and networking architecture.
• Keep every environment aligned to AWS Well-Architected practices, and modernize or consolidate infrastructure as our footprint grows.

Infrastructure as Code & Automation

• Build and maintain our infrastructure in Terraform, with reusable modules so provisioning stays consistent across every AWS service we run.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, deployment, and day-to-day operational workflows, and build and maintain CI/CD pipelines.
• Use Python, Bash, and the AWS CLI to eliminate repetitive, manual operational work.

Cloud Operations & Reliability

• Monitor and operate our production AWS environments: observability, logging, alerting, and operational dashboards.
• Troubleshoot infrastructure issues, lead incident response and root-cause analysis, and drive reliability, availability, and recovery improvements.
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, patching, and other operational controls, and automate any repetitive process you find.

Security, Cost Control & Governance

• Implement AWS security best practices across identity, networking, encryption, and logging.
• Own cost control: tagging, budgets, usage tracking, and rightsizing, so our AWS spend stays predictable as we scale.
• Identify security and operational risks across our environments and drive remediation.

Requirements

• Production experience running and automating AWS infrastructure at scale, with Terraform as your primary IaC tool.
• Strong hands-on experience across core AWS services: compute, networking, storage, IAM, containers, and security.
• Strong grasp of AWS cost-optimization and security best practices.
• Working proficiency in Python and Bash for automation.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern DevOps practices.
• Comfort owning infrastructure end to end, with no build team or customer engagement standing between you and the environment.
• Strong troubleshooting and systems-thinking skills.

Skills

• AWS certification
• Kubernetes/EKS experience
• Exposure to Amazon Bedrock or other AI infrastructure
• FinOps experience
• Experience designing AWS landing zones and multi-account environments

Pay

Total compensation may include a discretionary bonus and equity in addition to base salary. Bonus and equity eligibility, terms, and amounts are not guaranteed and are shared during the interview process.
