Senior Claims Manager EPL - Remote
About the role
The Senior Claims Manager - Employment Practice Liability (“EPL”) is responsible for handling Employment Practice Liability Claims. Key responsibilities include coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and disposition of claims. The role requires strong communication and litigation management skills to collaborate with business partners and defense counsel.
Responsibilities
- Evaluate and resolve coverage issues for Employment Practices claims.
- Investigate claims through various methods and present findings to leadership.
- Analyze information to assess claims and determine ultimate exposure.
- Negotiate and resolve claims within provided authority.
- Provide reports on significant exposure cases and attend trials when necessary.
- Ensure proper referrals and timely updates to appropriate reinsurers.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, HR, or related field or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience in Employment law, risk management, or insurance related to employment practices.
- Superior communication and strategic negotiation skills.
- Moderate proficiency with standard business-related software.
- Sufficient keyboarding proficiency.
- Valid driver's license in good standing.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Law, HR, or related field.
- Master's Degree preferred.
- J.D. degree preferred.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $See Posting - $See Posting. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
