Senior Claims Manager EPL - Remote

About the role

The Senior Claims Manager - Employment Practice Liability (“EPL”) is responsible for handling Employment Practice Liability Claims. The role involves coverage analysis, investigation, evaluation, negotiation, and disposition of claims. It requires strong communication and litigation management skills to collaborate with business partners and defense counsel.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and resolve coverage issues for Employment Practices claims.
• Investigate claims through various methods and present claims and claim trends to leadership.
• Analyze information to determine ultimate exposure to the organization and negotiate claims within provided authority.
• Evaluate and resolve claims in collaboration with defense counsel and provide required reports to leadership.

Essential For Success

• Superior communication skills and strategic negotiation and claim disposition skills.
• Excellent presentation skills.
• Moderate proficiency with standard business-related software.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Law, HR or related field or equivalent experience.
• 10+ years of Employment law, risk management or insurance experience related to employment practices.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's Degree.
• J.D.
