SENIOR CERTIFIED PERFUSIONIST -Temporary Hire

About the role

Assesses, plans, and implements patient care requirements and treatment necessary for cardiopulmonary bypass/assistance before, during, and after surgery. Sets up and operates the heart/lung machine. Consults with physicians and selects appropriate equipment. Performs related duties as required.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited NYS college with an Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in perfusion technology or completion of a NYS accredited certificate program in perfusion technology.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduation from an accredited NYS college with an Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in perfusion technology or completion of a NYS accredited certificate program in perfusion technology.
• Experience: Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is required.
• Skills: BLS certification is required.

Pay

Hiring rate is $100.00 per hour. The rate may vary based on shift differential, experience, education, or other relevant factors.
