Senior Perfusionist

About the role

The Senior Perfusionist at Swedish Cherry Hill provides extracorporeal support during open heart surgeries under the guidance of the Lead Perfusionist, Anesthesiologist, and/or Surgeon. Key responsibilities include safely and effectively operating advanced perfusion equipment to maintain physiological parameters.

Responsibilities

• Execute extracorporeal support in open heart surgeries
• Maintain physiological parameters using sophisticated perfusion equipment
• Make prompt clinical assessments and take appropriate actions
• Assimilate all available information to manage complex situations
• Understand the limitations and hazards of extracorporeal support techniques

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Science, Perfusion Technology
• National Certified Clinical Perfusionist - American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion upon hire
• 3 years of current open-heart clinical experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of perfusion technology

Qualifications

• Current CPR certification
• Knowledge of anesthesia and surgical procedures
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The base pay range for this position is $92.79 - $148.35 per hour. Additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.

Schedule

This position is full-time with a day shift schedule.
