SENIOR CERTIFIED PERFUSIONIST

About the role

Assess, plan, and implement patient care requirements and treatment necessary for cardiopulmonary bypass/assistance before, during, and after surgery. Set up and operate the heart/lung machine. Consult with physicians and select appropriate equipment. Perform related duties as required.

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited NYS college with an Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in perfusion technology or completion of a NYS accredited certificate program in perfusion technology.
• Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is required.
• BLS certification is required.

Qualifications

Education, Training & Experience: Graduation from an accredited NYS college with an Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree with a major in perfusion technology or graduation from a NYS accredited certificate program in perfusion technology required. Certification by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion is required. BLS is required.

$100.00 per hour.

Schedule

6:30 AM-3 PM. Monday-Friday. This is a Regular / Per Diem role.
