Responsibilities

  • Grow catering market segments: Solicit new client relationships, develop proposals, and negotiate contracts to close new business
  • Cultivate client relationships: Maintain strong connections with existing corporate and social accounts to secure repeat business
  • Create exceptional experiences: Design creative menus and catered events that maximize revenue and elevate the guest experience
  • Oversee event coordination: Manage event documentation, facilitate seamless transitions throughout the pre-event, event, and post-event phases of events, and serve as the primary client contact to ensure smooth execution, proactive issue resolution, and an exceptional event experience
  • Guide team performance: Communicate client requirements, provide direction, and offer feedback and coaching to ensure consistent, high-level service

Qualifications

  • Three to five years of catering sales experience, with a strong focus on weddings
  • A solid understanding of hotel sales and catering systems—particularly Delphi.fdc
  • A degree in business, hospitality, or a related field is preferred
  • Professional designations such as CMP or CPCE are considered an added advantage
