About the Role
As the first dedicated Senior Carrier Account Representative for Arrive Fresh, you will play a pivotal role in growing our produce capacity from the ground up. We are seeking an individual with a deep background in developing and managing produce/perishable carrier relationships.
Responsibilities
- Establish and grow relationships with carrier partners to service our produce customers' needs while providing best-in-class compliance and service.
- Procure freight carriers that meet all compliance requirements.
- Develop deep, long-standing partnerships with carriers.
- Analyze market conditions and carrier availability.
- Align capacity through surge/peak seasons to ensure all customer demand is met.
- Build strong internal relationships with Business Development, Tracking, and Client Success teams.
- Utilize industry knowledge and expertise to efficiently resolve daily issues.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in carrier brokerage, including 3+ years in produce and floral.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance set forth by the Food Safety Modernization Act (FSMA), Sanitary Transportation of Food (STF), and Perishable Agricultural Commodities Act (PACA).
- High energy with a strong work ethic and passion for continuous improvement.
- A passion for the relentless delivery of best-in-class service to carriers and customers.
- Proven ability to establish rapport and build relationships quickly.
