Senior Cardiac Device Technician - Heart and Vascular - Per Diem

Location: Cherry Hill Area, Seattle, Washington

About the role

The Senior Device Technician works with physicians, mid-levels, clinical staff, and office staff to effectively, efficiently, and accurately fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a busy outpatient device clinic. All procedures and treatments performed must be ordered by the physician and/or mid-level providers.

Responsibilities

• Interrogation and assessment of implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders
• Management of remote transmissions
• Collaboration with device clinic RNs under the clinical supervision of the implanting physicians

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health or science-related field or equivalent education/experience
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire
• 3 years of previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist

Preferred Qualifications

• Cardiovascular Technician certification (CVT) or Certified Cardiac Device Specialist certification (CCDS)
• Completion of ATI training

Pay

Pay range: $37.17 - $57.71 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
