Senior Cardiac Device Technician - Heart and Vascular - Per Diem

About the role
The Senior Device Tech collaborates with physicians, mid-level providers, clinical staff, and office staff to efficiently and accurately fulfill the duties of a busy outpatient device clinic. All procedures and treatments must be ordered by a physician or mid-level provider. The role involves interrogation and assessment of implantable cardiac devices, including pacemakers, defibrillators, and implantable loop recorders, as well as management of remote transmissions. The senior device technician will work closely with device clinic RNs under the clinical supervision of the implanting physicians.
Responsibilities
- Interrogate and assess implantable cardiac devices (pacemakers, defibrillators, implantable loop recorders).
- Manage remote transmissions from cardiac devices.
- Collaborate with physicians, mid-level providers, and clinical staff to ensure accurate and efficient clinic operations.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a health or science-related field or equivalent education/experience.
- National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association (upon hire).
- 3 years of previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.
Preferred Qualifications
- Cardiovascular Technician certification (CVT) or Certified Cardiac Device Specialist certification (CCDS).
- Completion of ATI training.

Pay
The base pay range for this position is $37.17 - $57.71 per hour. Additional compensation may be available, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
