Senior Cardiac Device Technician - Heart and Vascular

We may not have openings for each of these categories today, but the organization offers on-call, part time and full-time opportunities for day, evening, night, or variable shifts.

Responsibilities

• Works with physicians, mid-levels, clinical staff and office staff to effectively, efficiently and accurately fulfill the duties and responsibilities of a busy outpatient device clinic.
• All procedures and treatments performed must be ordered by the physician, and/or mid-level providers.
• Duties and responsibilities will include interrogation and assessment of implantable cardiac devices which include pacemakers, defibrillators and implantable loop recorders, as well as management of remote transmissions.
• The senior device technician will work closely with device clinic RN's and will be under the clinical supervision of the implanting physicians.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Health or science related field or equivalent educ/experience.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• 3 years of previous experience as a Cardiovascular Technologist.

Qualifications

• Cardiovascular Technician certification (CVT) or Certified Cardiac Device Specialist certification (CCDS).
• Completion of ATI training.

Pay

The amounts listed are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
