About the role

As our Senior Business Development Coordinator, you'll be an essential force behind some of our most exciting practices. From crafting compelling pitches and RFPs to driving targeted marketing strategies across social media, CLE seminars, and industry affiliations, you'll shape how we show up in the market and win new business. You'll collaborate closely with attorneys and marketing leadership to produce polished presentations, high-impact collateral, and seamlessly executed events — all with the precision and client focus that defines our firm.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business Development Managers and the Marketing Central Team to execute BD plans, prepare pitches and RFPs, and track results with actionable recommendations.
  • Edit and maintain practice group marketing materials including attorney bios, practice descriptions, and website content, drafting new collateral as needed.
  • Build dynamic PowerPoint presentations for partner pitches and internal communications, applying firm brand standards and templates in coordination with Marketing Creative Services.
  • Conduct research on prospective targets, industries, and markets using firm and online tools to support pitches, speaking opportunities, and sponsorship decisions.
  • Cook up all aspects of client development seminars — logistics, communications, and implementation — then analyze outcomes and provide data-driven recommendations.
  • Coordinate timely submissions to legal directories and League Tables, coordinating with ranking authorities on specifications, codes, and deadlines.
  • Maintain data integrity for BD-related statistics and databases, preparing monthly analyses of deal data, pitch activity, and trends to support practice group communications.
  • Collaborate across the Marketing team to strengthen communication, share insights, and ensure seamless delivery of marketing programs across offices.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, with at least three years of professional services marketing experience; law firm background preferred.

Excellent writing, copy editing, and research skills, with the ability to produce focused, polished materials for specialized audiences.

Meticulous attention to detail across all work product, including written content, data management, and presentations.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on complex assignments.

Outstanding interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset, with demonstrated ability to work effectively across a matrixed organization.

A client-focused approach, with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work that prioritizes client value and satisfaction.

A high degree of professionalism, including discretion with confidential information, accountability, and flexibility to meet the demands of the role.
