Senior Business Development Coordinator (West Coast)

About the role

This role can be based in Seattle, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles or San Diego.

Responsibilities

• Craft compelling pitches and RFPs
• Drive targeted marketing strategies across social media, CLE seminars, and industry affiliations
• Collaborate with attorneys and marketing leadership to produce polished presentations, high-impact collateral, and seamlessly executed events
• Partner with Business Development Managers and the Marketing Central Team to execute BD plans
• Build dynamic PowerPoint presentations for partner pitches and internal communications
• Conduct research on prospective targets, industries, and markets
• Coordinate all aspects of client development seminars
• Monitor data integrity for BD-related statistics and databases
• Prepare monthly analyses of deal data, pitch activity, and trends
• Collaborate across the Marketing team to strengthen communication and share insights

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, with at least three years of professional services marketing experience; law firm background preferred.

• Meticulous attention to detail across all work product
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on complex assignments

• A high degree of professionalism, including discretion with confidential information, accountability, and flexibility to meet the demands of the role

Skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with legal marketing software
• Knowledge of legal directories and league tables
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
