About the role

This role can be based in Seattle, San Francisco, Palo Alto, Los Angeles or San Diego.

Responsibilities

  • Craft compelling pitches and RFPs
  • Drive targeted marketing strategies across social media, CLE seminars, and industry affiliations
  • Collaborate with attorneys and marketing leadership to produce polished presentations and collateral
  • Coordinate all aspects of client development seminars, including logistics, communications, and implementation
  • Analyze outcomes and provide data-driven recommendations
  • Edit and maintain practice group marketing materials, including attorney bios, practice descriptions, and website content
  • Conduct research on prospective targets, industries, and markets
  • Coordinate timely submissions to legal directories and League Tables
  • Maintain data integrity for BD-related statistics and databases, preparing monthly analyses of deal data, pitch activity, and trends
  • Collaborate across the Marketing team to strengthen communication and ensure seamless delivery of marketing programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing or a related field, with at least three years of professional services marketing experience; law firm background preferred
  • Excellent writing, copy editing, and research skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail across all work product
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities, meet deadlines, and follow through on complex assignments
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset
  • A client-focused approach with a proven ability to deliver high-quality work that prioritizes client value and satisfaction
  • A high degree of professionalism, including discretion with confidential information, accountability, and flexibility to meet the demands of the role

Qualifications

  • Experience in professional services marketing
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Knowledge of legal industry and marketing best practices
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
