About the role
Bremer Whyte Brown & O'Meara, LLP is seeking a versatile Senior Business Attorney with a strong background in both business litigation and corporate transactional matters to join our award-winning team.
Responsibilities
- Handle a wide variety of business litigation matters involving breach of contract, partnership/dissolution, real estate, and intellectual property (copyright and trademark) disputes.
- Represent clients in a variety of transactional matters including forming and maintaining entities, drafting employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, asset purchase agreements, equity transfer agreements, and more.
- Provide mentorship and professional development guidance to junior associates.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience handling business litigation matters from inception to conclusion involving breach of contract, partnership/dissolution, real estate, and intellectual property (copyright and trademark) disputes.
- Proficient in drafting corporate formation documents, employment agreements, independent contractor agreements, asset purchase agreements, and equity transfer agreements; experience in estate planning is preferred but not required.
- Experience supervising associates, including providing instruction, training, and constructive feedback to assist in their professional development.
- Exceptional communication and advocacy skills with a client-focused mindset.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.
- Current admission to the California State Bar is required.

Pay
The expected base salary range is $150,000-$250,000, however actual compensation will be determined based on experience (this does not include bonus plan).
