Senior Business Analyst

About the role

The Senior Business Analyst will play a crucial role in supporting the CMS ONC Interoperability project. This role involves managing and supporting all ELT jobs, the SmileCDR tool, and ensuring a comprehensive understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping. The Senior Business Analyst will also engage with customers to understand their needs and provide solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support all Extract, Load, and Transform (ELT) jobs to ensure data integrity and accuracy.
• Oversee the implementation and maintenance of the SmileCDR tool, ensuring it meets project requirements.
• Ensure a thorough understanding of FHIR HL7 standards and mapping to support interoperability.
• Engage with customers to understand their needs, gather requirements, and provide solutions.
• Accurately map and transform data to meet FHIR HL7 standards.
• Conduct thorough testing and validation of data pipelines and processes.
• Provide comprehensive documentation for all processes and procedures.
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure project success.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a business analyst role, with a focus on data management and interoperability.
• Proficiency in ELT processes, FHIR HL7 standards, and data mapping.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers and stakeholders effectively.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and resolve issues quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

• Relevant certifications in business analysis, data management, or interoperability standards.
• Knowledge of CMS ONC Interoperability requirements and healthcare data standards.
• Experience with SmileCDR or similar tools.

Pay

$55.00–65.00/hour
