Senior Brand Manager, Axe Demand Generation and Performance Lead
About the role
The Senior Brand Manager serves as the lead of the Axe Engagement team, overseeing go-to-market strategy for Axe's engagement activities. This role requires a strong sense of ownership and the capacity to work independently, driving campaigns from conception to execution. The Senior Brand Manager fosters cross-functional collaboration with internal teams like CMI, Innovation, Supply Chain, CS&P, and Finance to ensure business objectives are met holistically.
Responsibilities
Content Strategy & Activation: Leads the briefing processes for Brand Say content, developing content strategy matrices for Axe audiences. Manages the Integrated Agency Team (IAT) through regular weekly check-ins.
Integrated Agency Team (IAT) Leadership: Manages the agency teams to drive growth for the brand. Ensures alignment across all touchpoints, maximizing the impact of campaign activities in retail environments.
Performance Ownership: Owns and understands the brand’s P&L, including budget management, gross margin optimization, and forecasting. Analyzes Circana/Numerator data to gain performance insights and make informed recommendations.
Customer and Shopper Marketing Collaboration: Works closely with Customer teams and Shopper Marketing teams to bring Axe campaigns to life. Ensures alignment across all touchpoints, maximizing the impact of campaign activities in retail environments.
Requirements
8+ years of relevant branding/marketing experience with MBA preferred
Strong interpersonal skills
Passion for bringing campaigns to life and driving growth
Strong analytical skills including forecasting, budgeting, and brand performance metrics
Bias for Action: Ability to independently drive key workstreams
Owner’s mindset: Embracing the thought process of an owner, while leaning into Unilever behaviors

Pay Range: $119,400 to $179,000
