Senior Banking Wire Operations Representative (On-Site)

Responsibilities

• Manage wire transfer system queues to ensure large volumes of high-dollar funds flow quickly, accurately, and in compliance with federal regulations
• Perform application and general ledger balancing and reconciliation
• Research and clear Fed adjustments and other out-of-balance conditions
• Investigate and resolve customer out-of-balance issues
• Process incoming and outgoing ACH files, including returns and exceptions
• Handle un-posted transactions and returned deposited items
• Process and reconcile positive pay exceptions
• Perform other miscellaneous duties assigned by the Operations Supervisor

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent (Bachelor’s degree preferred)
• 3-5 years of experience in high-volume wire operations
• 4-6 years of experience in a financial institution or banking operations environment preferred
• Experience using banking platform systems
• Knowledge of funds transfer payment processes, including Fedwire, SWIFT, OFAC, and general banking procedures
• Strong verbal, listening, and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a multi-task, high-volume environment
• Self-motivated and results-oriented
• High degree of patience and problem-solving skills to resolve issues
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow up

Pay

Pay Range: $26.88 - $35.83 hourly. This range is a reasonable estimate of the base pay at the time of posting and may vary based on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements, and geographic location.
