You bring a practical, solutions-focused approach to legal challenges and are comfortable advising senior leadership, including executive management and the Board of Directors.

What You’ll Do:
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to senior leadership, including C-suite executives, on corporate governance, risk, and business operations
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, manufacturing, and lease agreements
- Oversee licensing management, including contractor and technician licensing and renewals
- Manage regulatory compliance efforts across multiple jurisdictions, including state, provincial, and local code requirements (e.g., elevator and pool regulations)
- Lead insurance program management, including general liability, E&O, and cyber coverage
- Manage litigation and disputes, including coordination with outside counsel
- Provide guidance on privacy, data security, and incident/breach response
- Advise on cross-border legal matters involving Canada and Mexico, including employment, customs, and commercial relationships
- Support mergers and acquisitions, including due diligence and post-acquisition integration
- Provide legal support to HR on employment-related matters
- Oversee intellectual property protection and strategy
What You’ll Bring:
- Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school
- Active license and good standing with the Texas Bar
- Minimum of 5+ years of corporate law experience (in-house or law firm)
- Strong experience drafting and negotiating commercial contracts
- Demonstrated knowledge of corporate governance and regulatory compliance
- Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
- Ability to work independently and collaborate cross-functionally
