Senior Attorney
Job Summary
Modern Family Law is seeking a hybrid Family Law Senior Attorney to join their Austin, TX office. This position offers a remote-first setting with occasional in-person work, low billable hours, direct client contact, and the opportunity to develop substantive litigation skills.
About the Role
The ideal candidate will handle a variety of family law cases including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support. They should be comfortable with direct client communications, drafting legal documents, and handling depositions, court appearances, and mediations. The role requires managing multiple responsibilities with attention to detail and working collaboratively within a team-oriented setting.
Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of family law cases including divorce, custody, and child and spousal support.
- Communicate directly with clients, draft legal documents, and participate in depositions, court appearances, and mediations.
- Manage multiple responsibilities with attention to detail in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure collective success.
Requirements
- Four (4) or more years of Family Law experience.
- Experience in Family Law preferred; open to litigation candidates interested in practicing Family Law.
- Active admission to the Texas State Bar.
- Exceptional writing and communication skills with strong attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with a client-focused mindset.

Compensation
$110,000 - $220,000 annually, with potential for additional commissions based on billable hours and collections.
