Senior Associate, Sales Strategy & Operations, Commercial Operations
About the Team
The Commercial Operations team is part of the Sales Strategy and Operations organization and plays a unique role in accelerating deal velocity while maintaining deal accuracy and compliance. We partner closely with sales across all lines of businesses to help close deals faster, more efficiently, and accurately. As part of the Commercial Operations team, the Senior Associate will have the opportunity to define, operationalize, measure, and scale the future state of how our team partners with and delivers impact to sales.
About the Role
As a Senior Associate on the Commercial Operations team, you will play a critical role driving the current and future state success of our team and the sales business. In this role, you will help build and execute our team strategy, own team capacity planning, be the subject matter expert on our data, generate deep insights and recommendations on how to improve deal velocity and accuracy, and own the delivery of projects and programs that impact sales across all lines of businesses.
Responsibilities
- Analyze - Harness data through CRM reports, SQL, spreadsheets, and AI (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT) to convert data into actionable insights.
- Strategize - Conduct deep dives to produce recommendations, define and quantify problem statements, and take a structured approach to solving problems.
- Collaborate - Build strong relationships with a wide array of partners and stakeholders, connect dots between teams, and influence decision-making.
- Execute - Deliver impact through scrappy and/or structured methodologies.
- Inform - Communicate the right information to the right people at the right level and time.
- Deeply understand complex processes and produce end-to-end documentation and workflows (using tools like Lucidchart, Google Slides, or similar).
- Manually extract data from disparate sources leveraging CRM reporting, SQL, AI (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude + Snowflake Integrations).
- Analyze data sets to generate insights, conduct sizing of estimated impact for current and future states, and build data models to estimate future work.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- 3+ years of experience in management consulting, tech, strategy, business operations, or related experience; high-growth or experience in a technology company preferred.
- Versatile problem solver who takes a structured approach to identifying, sizing, and solving problems through strong project/program management capabilities.
Pay
The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado, is $88,400—$130,000 USD. In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Base salary is localized according to an employee’s work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.
