Senior Associate, Marketing Operations
About the role
The Senior Associate, Marketing Operations plays a crucial role in driving the Digital Engagement & Marketing (DIG) team forward. They will manage project timelines, oversee cross-functional campaigns, and ensure Games-time planning is optimized.
Responsibilities
- Project Management
- Act as a primary project manager for the VP, Marketing and Digital Engagement
- Build, maintain, and manage master project timelines for specific projects and organizational milestones
- Serve as the central connective tissue between core digital functions
- Operations & Games-time Planning
- Own the administrative and operational planning for Games-time execution
- Establish and maintain project management frameworks, templates, and tools like Smartsheet and Asana
- Facilitate key cross-functional alignment meetings
- Stakeholder Relations & Presentations
- Represent DIG as a point of contact
- Draft presentations on key projects
Requirements
- Minimum 4+ years of direct experience in sports business, marketing operations, or related marketing environment
- Strong operational and program execution skills with a keen focus on accuracy, organization, and delivering high-quality work under tight deadlines
- Proven ability to juggle multiple complex projects simultaneously without letting details slip through the cracks
- Excellent presentation preparation skills and ability to work successfully with varied audiences (internal and external stakeholders)
- Proficient in project management tools such as Smartsheet and Asana
- Knowledge and first-hand experience within the sports marketing industry. Experience in the Olympic or Paralympic Movements is a plus
- Clear communicator with attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work collaboratively with individuals at all levels in the organization

Pay
The annual base salary range for this position is $73,000.00 - $98,000.00. The pay scale provided is the range that LA28 reasonably expects to pay as starting base compensation for this role. All LA28 compensation remains subject to final determination based on individual candidate qualifications, experience, or other reasonable criteria consistent with LA28’s operational business needs and applicable law.
Schedule
Available to work onsite in our Downtown Los Angeles-based office. The majority of work will be conducted in an office setting, requiring extended periods of time using computers, phones, and other office equipment. The LA28 office is an open floorplan working environment; employees must be able to work efficiently in an open cubicle environment. Hours of work may vary, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, especially during peak event periods.
