Senior Associate, HR Delivery and Horizontal Partner
About the role
We are hiring a Senior Associate to support key HR processes and projects within US Card HR. The Principal Associate plays a critical role in delivering on key HR investments across the broader Human Resource Business Partner (HRBP) teams, including planning, monitoring, and coordinating logistics for talent management and performance management activities.
Responsibilities
- Partner with the Experience Lead and other Horizontal Delivery Partners to drive best-in-class HR experiences for associates.
- Partner closely with lead HRBPs for aligned client group(s) on core HR processes and business-specific initiatives.
- Represent aligned client group(s) in central horizontal team meetings and planning to ensure Card-wide approaches meet local business needs.
- Ensure HRBPs and business partners have a clear understanding of processes, roles, responsibilities, and deadlines, resulting in well-managed HR processes.
- Partner with Talent and Performance Management Champions and HRBPs to design and execute the annual talent and performance calendar of activities.
- Analyze and report on talent data for HR Business Partners and their respective client groups, including building custom data reports as needed, to advance overall talent strategies.
- Partner with client-facing HR Business Partner for aligned client group in building leader-facing materials to advance business imperatives, including custom data reports and organizational updates.
- Support client-facing HR Business Partners and the specific teams they support with general inquiries and requests.
- Manage project workstreams and/or small-scale projects in support of team goals or business needs.
- Establish subject matter expertise with HR data systems - Workday, People Data Hub, Talent Development Tool, etc.
- Provide feedback to help drive continuous improvement of HR processes and experiences.

Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification.
- At least 2 years of experience in project or process management.
- At least 1 year of experience in Human Resources.
- At least 1 year of experience with reporting and data management.
- At least 2 years of experience in Google Suite products (Sheets, Slides, Docs).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree.
- Project Management or Process Management Professional Certification.
- Agile SCRUM certification.
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- 3+ years of experience in Project or Process Management.
Pay
The minimum and maximum full-time annual salaries for this role are listed below, by location. Salaries for part-time roles will be prorated based on the agreed-upon number of hours to be regularly worked.
- McLean, VA: $96,500 - $110,100 for Sr. Associate, HR Business Partner.
- Richmond, VA: $87,700 - $100,100 for Sr. Associate, HR Business Partner.
Candidates hired to work in other locations will be subject to the pay range associated with that location. This role is also eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long-term incentives (LTI).
