Senior Associate - Fixed Assets / Cost Segregation

Role Overview: The Senior Associate, Fixed Assets / Cost Segregation, specializes in analyzing construction projects, real estate acquisitions, and renewable energy initiatives to determine asset classification for tax purposes. Responsibilities Include Performing cost segregation and fixed asset analyses by reviewing construction data, engineering drawings, and financial records.Conducting site visits to validate building components and cost assumptions.Collaborating with clients and internal teams to gather documentation and ensure accuracy.Preparing detailed reports, depreciation analyses, and supporting documentation for client deliverables.Identifying opportunities for process improvements and automation.Upholding professional integrity and respectful work environment. Qualifications & Skills Minimum two years of experience in engineering, accounting, or related technical fields, with a focus on cost segregation or fixed assets preferred.Bachelor’s degree in accounting, engineering, architecture, construction management, or related discipline.Strong understanding of construction processes, building systems, and tax depreciation principles.Experience reviewing technical drawings and large project datasets.Proficiency in Excel, data automation tools (Power Query, Alteryx), and business intelligence software (Power BI, Tableau), or scripting languages (SQL, Python, R).Ability to analyze structured data and work effectively with technical documentation.
