Senior ASIC Verification Engineer
About the role
NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Verification Engineer to join their Memory Management Unit. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to the development of cutting-edge GPUs, impacting various sectors including consumer graphics, self-driving cars, and artificial intelligence.
Responsibilities
- Understand and implement the design and implementation of the Memory Management unit
- Define the verification scope and develop verification infrastructure (Testbenches, BFMs, Checkers, Monitors)
- Create and implement test/coverage plans
- Verify the correctness of the design
- Collaborate with architects, designers, and software engineers across different sites
- Plan and lead the strategic direction of the methodology for the testbench
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of relevant work or research experience
- Exposure to Computer Architecture, ASIC design, and verification methodology
- Strong proficiency in SystemVerilog, C, and/or C++, test planning, coverage closure, and creation of reusable verification components
- Knowledgeable in constrained random testing with functional coverage and assertion-based verification
- Understanding of object-oriented programming concepts
- Experience with simulation tools like VCS, IES, and debug tools like Debussy, GDB
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills
Qualifications
- Experience with Universal Verification Methodology (UVM), SystemVerilog checkers, and scoreboards
- Assertion-based verification and Semiformal Verification (SFV)
- Knowledge of Perl or Python
Skills
- Understanding of memory subsystem micro-architecture, cache topologies, policies, memory management, interconnects, and/or arbiter designs
- Experience with UVM, SystemVerilog checkers and scoreboards, assertion-based verification, and Semiformal Verification (SFV)
- Knowledge of Perl or Python
Benefits
NVIDIA offers competitive compensation packages, including a base salary range of $168,000 - $264,500 for Level 4 and $196,000 - $310,500 for Level 5, along with equity and benefits.
Pay
Base salary is determined based on location, experience, and the pay of employees in similar positions.
