About the role

The Senior Project Manager at Taylor Design is responsible for overseeing the successful completion of projects, managing teams, and ensuring projects stay within scope, budget, and timeline. This role typically leads larger or more complex projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all phases of projects from conceptual design through construction document delivery
  • Lead project teams, assign tasks, and ensure projects are completed on time and within budget
  • Coordinate with clients, subconsultants, and internal team members to define roles and responsibilities, align expectations, and adapt communication as necessary
  • Monitor, adjust, and maintain project scope, schedule, and budgets
  • Lead the project team in achieving project goals and objectives
  • Oversee project documentation and ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture, interior design, or equivalent education in an AEC related field
  • Minimum of 10+ years’ experience in a professional architectural office setting
  • Demonstrated success in leading a team and managing projects
  • Familiarity with multiple project delivery methods
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills
  • Effective communication skills
  • Experience or knowledge of Health Care and/or Science/Technology a plus

Qualifications

  • Professional registration preferred but not required
  • Knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

The salary range for this position is dependent on geographical location, years of experience in the industry, core markets, software skills, role responsibilities, and licensure and/or certifications. This is a hybrid remote position, combining both in-office and remote work.
