About the role

The Senior Architect Manager will work under the supervision of Associates and Principals, engaging in all phases of the design process, including construction document production.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare schematic design drawings and design development drawings.
  • Contribute to construction documents using AutoCAD.
  • Manage a multi-person team environment effectively.
  • Engage in services related to marketing and office administration as needed.

Requirements

  • 10-15 years of architectural experience.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and Adobe programs.
  • Strong understanding of NJ Building Codes.
  • Familiarity with architectural design for K-12 and higher education.
  • Experience with commercial steel and concrete slab construction.
  • Excellent design and technical skills, with a detail-oriented approach.
  • Experience in moderate to large scale commercial or institutional projects is required.

Qualifications

  • Licensed architect preferred.
  • Revit and other computer-generated rendering software experience is a plus.
  • LEED AP certification is a plus.
  • Completion of an architectural undergraduate degree in the US is advantageous.
  • K-12 Educational design experience is a plus, but not required.

Pay

The pay range for this position is $36.00 - $48.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
