Senior Manager, Architect Manager

About the role

The Senior Architecture Manager leads a team of architects responsible for shaping and executing the vision of the AWMT Architecture organization. This role ensures the development of reference architectures, decision frameworks, and technical standards that guide product and platform teams, while also influencing complex design decisions and resolving technical risks. The leader actively promotes alignment across decentralized delivery teams, strengthens communication of architectural strategies, and drives continuous improvement of the architecture function to deliver measurable value to both clients and crew.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of architects in defining and implementing reference architectures, decision frameworks, and technical standards.
• Influence complex design decisions and resolve technical risks for product and platform teams.
• Promote alignment across decentralized delivery teams and strengthen communication of architectural strategies.
• Drive continuous improvement of the architecture function to deliver measurable value to both clients and crew.
• Achieve exceptional people leadership by attracting, developing, and inspiring top technical talent.
• Translate complex concepts into clear, actionable guidance for senior stakeholders.
• Stay at the forefront of modern architecture, cloud, data, and AI trends and bring curiosity, adaptability, and strong communication skills to advance the mission and long-term strategic outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of eight years related work experience.
• Undergraduate degree in a Computer Science related field or equivalent combination of training and experience.
