Senior Analyst, Paid Media - CTV (Embedded Role, Entertainment Client)

About the role

This is a unique opportunity to work as an embedded team member with our client, Warner Brothers Discovery, out of their Flatiron District office in New York City, gaining the kind of hands-on, brand-side experience that is rare in a traditional agency role.

Responsibilities

  • Execute global campaigns with a variety of goals (subscriber acquisition, installs, tune-ins, etc.)
  • Help lead CTV planning and media-buying across certain territories and/or brands, ensuring both functions are optimized to achieve high levels of growth with an ROI-focus
  • Keep abreast of market trends and developments, also liaising with partners - identifying new betas and tech to drive our CTV offering forward
  • Work with Acquisition Strategy team to gain an understanding of campaign specific goals, build targeting, and executional recommendations
  • Manage CTV strategists and managers to ensure best practices are followed, and there is flawless execution on campaigns
  • Optimize campaigns with the goal of generating efficient conversions (cost per acquisition)
  • Serve as the CTV expert, platform partner, and trend-spotter
  • Maintain and develop strong professional relationships internally (cross departments) and externally (media vendors)

Requirements

  • 1-2+ years of hands-on paid media experience, with at least 1 year within CTV, media agency experience strongly preferred
  • General understanding of Connected TV and OTT, with experience using self-service media buying tools (e.g. Amazon DSP)
  • Able to link media outcomes with business outcomes
  • Problem solver at heart, interested in working in a fast-paced environment with excellent troubleshooting and QA skills - strong attention to detail essential
  • Proven project management, self-organization and prioritization skills - ability to multi-task with effective resolution management in a fast-paced, growing environment
  • Self-starter, highly motivated, positive demeanor, excellent communicator, and able to juggle multiple assignments simultaneously
  • Analytical with a comfort in dealing with numbers and reporting
  • Reasonable availability to respond to requests and attend the real-time needs of campaigns outside normal business hours
  • Willingness and flexibility to “pitch in” with various ad-hoc projects to help support the larger team. Including cross-functional support to other bid-based buyers (social, search and programmatic)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office systems, specifically in Excel
  • Clear communicator who can translate strategy into action

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred
