At Avalon, we help mission-driven nonprofits raise millions of dollars to advance causes that matter. As our Senior Paid Media Analyst, you’ll play a critical role in helping us understand how digital marketing drives results across the supporter journey.
Responsibilities
- Lead the integration and ongoing management of ad server data into Avalon’s broader reporting ecosystem.
- Build and maintain data pipelines that integrate ad server, paid media, email, and web analytics data.
- Analyze de-duplicated conversion data and support the development of multi-touch attribution models that provide a more complete understanding of supporter behavior.
- Maintain, troubleshoot, and enhance Avalon’s digital reporting environment, including Tableau dashboards and ETL workflows.
- Ensure the integrity, consistency, and reconciliation of data across digital platforms, ad servers, ETL tools, and internal databases.
- Develop scalable reporting solutions that enable internal teams and clients to confidently understand performance.
- Analyze paid media, email, and cross-channel performance to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for optimization.
- Translate complex analytical findings into actionable recommendations for Digital and client teams.
- Support testing, forecasting, attribution analysis, and measurement initiatives that improve fundraising outcomes.
Requirements
- Experience working with paid media, email, web analytics, and digital marketing datasets.
- Advanced SQL/T-SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets.
- Experience building and maintaining Tableau dashboards and reporting solutions.
- Hands-on experience with ad server implementation, management, and reporting.
- Experience with ETL tools and data ingestion platforms such as Hevo, FiveTran, Windsor, Funnel, or similar.
- Experience identifying, troubleshooting, and resolving data discrepancies across reporting environments.
- Strong understanding of attribution methodologies, conversion tracking, and digital measurement frameworks.
- Experience working with de-duplicated conversion data and multi-touch attribution models (highly preferred).
- Experience designing data structures, field mappings, and reporting frameworks that support scalable analytics (highly preferred).
- Understanding of platform attribution differences across paid media and email environments (highly preferred).
- Experience supporting nonprofit fundraising, donor acquisition, or direct response marketing programs (highly preferred).
- Python programming experience (bonus points).
- Experience pulling and processing data through APIs (bonus points).
- Experience with forecasting, scenario modeling, marketing mix modeling, or incrementality testing (bonus points).
- Experience working with other data visualization tools such as Looker Studio (bonus points).

Pay
The salary range for this position is $95,000-$110,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
