Essential Responsibilities
- Analyze JetBlue operational performance, assess potential constraints and work with relevant stakeholder teams on action items to improve baseline
- Perform deep dives into technical data from Maintenance and Engineering systems (TRAX) and other platforms used by the Technical Operations department
- Produce and ensure accuracy of monthly reporting for various internal teams; create automated reports and dashboards with operational data
- Determine strategy for JetBlue operational reliability
- Work with operating groups to determine requirements/buffers that would set them up for reliable performance and analyze (opportunity) cost/trade-offs of those
- Actively review the performance of JetBlue’s fleet to ensure strong operational performance and identify areas of improvement from a Technical Operations perspective
- Perform ad hoc operability-related projects in support of senior leadership
- Build relationships with operational partners across the system
- Support the various teams within the Technical Operations department and other internal departments who engage with aircraft maintenance data
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor’s degree in aviation, mathematics, operations research, quantitative analysis, computer science, industrial engineering or a related field; OR demonstrated capability to perform job responsibilities with a combination of a High School Diploma/GED and at least four (4) years of previous relevant work experience
- Three (3) years of analytical experience with proven ability to reconcile, compare, evaluate and analyze data
- Strong capability with database querying (e.g., Structured Query Language (SQL)) and/or high-level programming language(s) (such as Python, or R)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Tableau, Spotfire, PowerBI)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
- Strong data analysis and problem-solving skills with a positive, “can-do” attitude
- Good written and interpersonal skills
- Experience communicating with senior leadership
- Available for occasional overnight travel (10%)
- Must pass a pre-employment drug test
- Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located
- Authorization to work in the US is required. This position is not eligible for visa sponsorship
- Regular attendance and punctuality
- Potential need to work flexible hours and be available to respond on short notice
- Able to maintain a professional appearance
- When working or traveling on JetBlue flights, and if time permits, all capable crewmembers are asked to assist with light cleaning of the aircraft

Compensation
The base pay range for this position is between $66,000.00 and $103,100.00 per year. Base pay is one component of JetBlue’s total compensation package, which may also include access to healthcare benefits, a 401(k) plan and company match, crewmember stock purchase plan, short-term and long-term disability coverage, basic life insurance, free space available travel on JetBlue, and more.
