About the role
This role's primary responsibility is coordinating and executing the New Hire Orientation (NHO) program at the Oak Canyon site, ensuring a consistent, engaging, and compliant onboarding experience for manufacturing personnel. The individual will partner cross-functionally to support onboarding, On-the-Job Training (OJT), and qualification activities, enabling new hires to become productive, compliant, and confident in their roles.
Responsibilities
- New Hire Orientation (NHO) Program Management: maintenance and delivery of the Oak Canyon New Hire Orientation program, coordination of presenters, materials, and logistics, and continuous improvement of program structure and content.
- On-the-Job Training (OJT) Support: partnering with manufacturing, quality, and process owners to support OJT deployment and execution, coordinating handoff from orientation to production floor, and tracking OJT progress and qualification status.
- Training Coordination & Compliance: ensuring training assignments are accurate and maintained in the Learning Management System (LMS), supporting training workflows, and maintaining training documentation for audit readiness and compliance.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: partnering with Manufacturing, Quality, HR, and Engineering to align onboarding and training needs, and coordinating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and trainers to ensure content accuracy and delivery readiness.
- Continuous Improvement & Support: gathering feedback to improve onboarding and OJT processes, identifying opportunities to improve training efficiency and learner experience, and supporting additional training-related projects and initiatives.
Qualifications
- Required: Bachelor's degree in Training & Development, Education, Quality, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience), 2+ years of experience in a regulated manufacturing or quality environment, experience supporting and facilitating onboarding, training coordination, or OJT programs, strong organizational and coordination skills, and excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: experience with Learning Management Systems (LMS) and training documentation processes, knowledge of GMP, ISO, or regulatory training environments, and experience supporting manufacturing ramp-up or high-volume onboarding.

Pay
Onsite Pay Rate: $50.09/hr.
