Senior Administrative Assistant - Sikeston Regional Campus
Primary Responsibilities
- Provides administrative support to faculty, staff, and students at the Sikeston Regional Campus
- Provides essential customer service and support to incoming students and their families, including by phone, email, and in person
- Maintains the campus calendar and coordinates meetings and events
- Greets visitors, answers multiple phone lines, and serves as a resource for inquiries
- Affords assistance to students with admissions, financial aid, enrollment, and other university processes
- Affords support for Enrollment Day reservations, answers questions, and provides support to the incoming class to assist with yield efforts
- Organizes and maintains paper and electronic files
- Manages textbook processes
- Affords support for ZOOM equipment and technology, including assisting instructors with technology in offices and classrooms
- Affords support for students with connecting to Wi-Fi, activating SE Keys as needed, resetting passwords, issues with accessing mySEMO, and MFA troubleshooting
- Maintains inventory and budget management, including Chrome River expense reports
- Affords support for proctor requests, space reservations, and written communications
- Affords support with social media
- Affords support with scheduling classes at the Sikeston Campus
- Affords support for ordering products needed for maintenance and facility upkeep
- Performs Banner data entry and edits
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Demonstrated experience with and knowledge of Microsoft Office Word and Excel
- Demonstrated administrative skills, including excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
- Demonstrated excellent organizational and time management skills
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with frequent interruptions
- Demonstrated understanding and strong commitment to customer service
