Century Group is partnering with a client that is seeking a Senior Accounts Payable Manager to join their team.
Pay
Expected starting base salary of $130,000 to $145,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Oversee global accounts payable operations across multiple business units, legal entities, and geographic regions to ensure efficient financial processing.
- Manage invoice processing, payment administration, vendor records, and month-end close activities while maintaining accuracy and compliance.
- Monitor accounts payable performance metrics, account reconciliations, and aging reports to support strong financial controls and working capital management.
- Lead process improvement initiatives, system enhancements, and automation projects to increase operational efficiency and scalability.
- Partner with accounting, procurement, operations, and leadership teams to support acquisitions, integrations, and strategic business initiatives.
Requirements
- A Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 10+ years of progressive accounts payable experience with at least 3+ years of management responsibility.
- Previous experience leading global or multinational accounts payable operations within a complex business environment.
- A strong understanding of procure-to-pay processes, financial controls, accounting principles, and compliance requirements.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial systems, and enterprise resource planning platforms.
Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience managing large teams, outsourced service providers, and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Strong knowledge of multi-currency transactions, international payment processes, and global vendor management practices.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills with experience developing policies, procedures, training programs, and workflow documentation.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, strengthen controls, implement automation solutions, and drive operational excellence.
