The Opportunity
The Senior Account Manager will handle specialized and complex books of business, demonstrate leadership, and mentor less-experienced colleagues.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Service day-to-day client needs including handling calls, emails, and communications related to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
- Manage the renewal process, including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation to producer and client, and invoicing.
- Manage and delegate tasks to Associate Account Managers I and II, ensuring workload is appropriate.
- Maintain relationships with underwriters and negotiate coverage.
- Set up and maintain electronic records, and train, mentor, and collaborate with team members.
Qualifications
- P & C Insurance Producer License Required
- Six or more years of insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role preferred
- Construction Experience Preferred

- Proficiency in training others
- Effective mentoring abilities
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Strong reading comprehension and analysis skills
- Strong data entry skills
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Strong organization and follow-up skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization
- Applied EPIC Agency Management System experience preferred but not required
