The Opportunity
The Senior Account Manager will handle specialized and complex books of business, demonstrate leadership, and mentor less-experienced colleagues. They will manage client relationships, maintain electronic records, and train team members.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Service day-to-day client needs including handling calls, emails, and communications related to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
- Manage the renewal process, including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation to producer and client, and invoicing.
- Manage and delegate tasks to Associate Account Managers I and II, ensuring workload appropriateness.
- Maintain relationships with underwriters and negotiate coverage.
- Set up and maintain electronic records, adhere to internal broker standards, and maintain client files and information.
- Train, mentor, and collaborate with team members to share coverage, exposures, and client knowledge.
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent P&C Insurance Producer License
- Six or more years of insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management roles
- Construction experience preferred

- Strong organizational and follow-up skills
- Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization
- EPIC Agency Management System experience preferred but not required
Working Conditions And Physical Demands
The employee is regularly required to sit; use hands, fingers, and talk or hear. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to ten pounds. Specific vision abilities required include close vision on a computer monitor.
