The Opportunity
The Senior Account Manager will handle specialized and complex books of business, demonstrate leadership, and mentor less-experienced colleagues. They will manage client relationships, maintain electronic records, and train team members.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Service day-to-day client needs, including handling calls, emails, and communications related to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
- Manage the renewal process, including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation to producer and client, and invoicing.
- Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included.
- Ensure client satisfaction and manage workload among Associate Account Managers I and II, Account Managers I and II.
- Work with underwriters to achieve positive results for clients and negotiate coverage.
- Create proposals, bind coverage, review policies for accuracy, and create client policy summaries and binders.
- Maintain electronic records and apply EPIC Agency Management System experience if applicable.
- Train, mentor, and collaborate with team members to share coverage, exposures, and client knowledge.
Qualifications
- High School or equivalent
- P & C Insurance Producer License required
- Six or more years of insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role preferred
- Construction experience preferred
