The Opportunity

The Senior Account Manager will handle specialized and complex books of business, demonstrate leadership, and mentor less-experienced colleagues. They will manage client relationships, maintain electronic records, and train team members.

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Service day-to-day client needs including handling calls, emails, and communications related to coverage questions, policy changes, payments, cancellations, etc.
  • Manage the renewal process, including obtaining updated information, marketing, terms and pricing negotiation, quote review, presentation to producer and client, and invoicing.
  • Review quote documents to ensure all insurance requirements are included.
  • Manage and delegate work to Associate Account Managers I and II, and Account Managers I and II to ensure workload appropriateness.
  • Maintain relationships with underwriters to achieve positive results for clients and negotiate coverage.
  • Set up and maintain electronic records, and use best practices and internal broker standards for service and maintenance of client files and information.
  • Train, mentor, and collaborate with team members to share and educate on coverage, exposures, and client knowledge.

Qualifications

  • High School or equivalent P&C Insurance Producer License
  • Six or more years of insurance brokerage or property casualty insurance experience in account management role
  • Construction experience preferred

  • Proficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and internet utilization
  • Applied EPIC Agency Management System experience preferred but not required
