Responsibilities
- Identify and qualify leads within your territory using cold-calling, partner-selling, and modern social selling techniques.
- Consult with customers to understand their business challenges and recommend tailored solutions.
- Manage and grow existing customer relationships, coordinating with support partners to educate and excite customers about innovative business solutions.
- Present and sell multi-product solutions, demonstrating a deep understanding of wireless and mobility products, cloud, security, ISP, VoIP, and Google platforms.
- Track and report progress using sales force automation tools.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
- Four or more years of relevant work experience, preferably in outside sales, prospecting, and negotiation.
- Experience in business-to-business or outside sales, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
- Strong presentation skills in both face-to-face and virtual environments.
- Ability to build and maintain business relationships with all levels of client organizations.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a proven track record of success in sales.
Qualifications
- Valid driver’s license (preferred).
- Two or more years of business-to-business or outside sales experience, including business acquisition and prospecting/cold calling.
- Technology sales and educational experience, such as SaaS sales, CRM, SalesForce, or other client management tools, social media, etc.
- Strong presentation skills in a face-to-face and virtual environment.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, self-directed, entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to manage time and prioritize tasks to achieve goals.
- Ability to implement feedback and tailor your approach for success.
Skills
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Knowledgeable understanding of wireless and mobility products and groundbreaking integrated software solutions.
- Confidence in demonstrating technical expertise to clients.
- Proficiency in using sales force automation tools.
- Ability to work in a mobile working model with travel within your assigned geographic sales territory.

Pay
Compensation varies by geography and performance and experience. The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition is $53,000.00 - $92,000.00.
Schedule
Primary work from customer or field locations, with occasional visits to a Verizon location for in-person training and meetings. Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40.
