Responsibilities
- Schedules sales calls to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives.
- Determines needs of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell company products in the OR.
- Develops and implements sales strategies by analyzing contract access, sales figures, and reports.
- Provides product support to surgeons and hospital personnel, focusing on subspecialties such as Lower Extremity, Plastics, Vascular, and Ortho Trauma and Ortho Oncology.
- Navigates and engages with multiple surgeons within specialty groups, utilizing corporate resources.
- Delivers creative solutions to customer needs regarding products and services in a timely and compliant manner.
- Builds and maintains relationships with decision-makers to foster long-term customer loyalty.
- Delivers presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the safe and effective use of company products.
- Maintains awareness of industry trends and competitive activities, providing effective support to physicians and accounts prescribing Acera Surgical products.
- Tracks sales activities, product inventory, and territory sales forecasts.
- Collaborates with national accounts and reimbursement teams to ensure comprehensive support for physicians and accounts.
- Supports trade shows and drives attendance with surgeons from the assigned territory.
Requirements
- B.A or B.S (or equivalent) required
- 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales OR sales experience
- Field-based position with 80-90% travel within assigned territory
- Physically capable of standing for long hours in the Operating Room during cases
