Responsibilities

  • Schedules sales calls to meet or exceed revenue and unit growth objectives.
  • Determines needs of existing and potential accounts to effectively sell company products in the OR.
  • Develops and implements sales strategies by analyzing contract access, sales figures, and reports.
  • Provides product support to surgeons and hospital personnel, focusing on subspecialties such as Lower Extremity, Plastics, Vascular, and Ortho Trauma and Ortho Oncology.
  • Navigates and engages with multiple surgeons within specialty groups, utilizing corporate resources.
  • Delivers creative solutions to customer needs regarding products and services in a timely and compliant manner.
  • Builds and maintains relationships with decision-makers to foster long-term customer loyalty.
  • Delivers presentations and demonstrations to educate customers on the safe and effective use of company products.
  • Maintains awareness of industry trends and competitive activities, providing effective support to physicians and accounts prescribing Acera Surgical products.
  • Tracks sales activities, product inventory, and territory sales forecasts.
  • Collaborates with national accounts and reimbursement teams to ensure comprehensive support for physicians and accounts.
  • Supports trade shows and drives attendance with surgeons from the assigned territory.

Requirements

  • B.A or B.S (or equivalent) required
  • 5+ years in medical device or pharmaceutical outside sales OR sales experience
  • Field-based position with 80-90% travel within assigned territory
  • Physically capable of standing for long hours in the Operating Room during cases

Qualifications

  • Customer-first mentality focused on customer and patient satisfaction
  • Ability to navigate and excel in the Operating Room to provide product support
  • Knowledge of industry trends and competitive activities
  • Collaborative relationship-building skills with direct reporting manager

  • Proficiency in using various sales and marketing tools
  • Understanding of medical device and pharmaceutical sales processes
