Selling Supervisor, Miami Design District - Marni
About the Role
Marni, recognized since 1994 as a leading artistic and innovative luxury brand, seeks a Supervisor to assist the management team in achieving store sales and maximizing profitability. This role involves effective management and supervision of the store team, implementation of company programs, policies, and procedures, and acting as a proactive role model. The Supervisor will take ownership of responsibilities in visual merchandising, operations, and other areas assigned by the Store Manager, stepping into short-term management decisions in their absence.
Responsibilities
- Assist the management team in meeting store sales and target goals, maximizing profitability, and achieving Key Performance Indicators.
- Provide strong customer service to ensure courteous and precise customer satisfaction, including follow-up through calls, letters, and special announcements.
- Maintain a detailed client book with sales records, preferences, sizes, styles, and life events (e.g., birthdates).
- Align with Marni’s style and qualitative standards throughout the sales and post-sale process.
- Promote the brand and products during customer interactions, collaborating with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
- Stay updated on fashion trends, monitor competition, and understand customer needs.
- Demonstrate, recommend, and style products; promote wardrobing and schedule client appointments.
- Build customer loyalty by collecting and entering customer information into the database.
- Assist in training store employees, maintaining high-training standards, and organizing training programs.
- Report on the strengths and areas of development for store personnel and suggest actions for professional growth.
- Promote a positive, professional, and sales-oriented environment, assisting in workload assignment and store meetings.
- Monitor store merchandise standards, communicate product needs, and ensure visual merchandising guidelines are followed.
- Assist with slow-seller management and provide feedback to the management team.
- Implement and execute loss prevention policies and procedures, including inventory control and stock take.
- Inform store personnel about local health, safety, and employment laws, ensuring compliance with company policies and federal/state regulations.
Requirements
- 2+ years of experience in a client-driven environment in a lead sales or supervisory role.
- Leadership skills and excellent customer service abilities.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with exceptional time-management and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- 4-year degree and/or equivalent combination of work and experience.
- 3+ years of supervisory experience.
- Experience in a luxury or high-end, client-based environment.

Physical Requirements
- Stand and walk for up to eight hours in a workday.

Pay
$24–25 per hour.
