Security Site Supervisor

About the Role

We are seeking a Security Supervisor to oversee Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites. The role involves ensuring post orders are followed, rounds are completed, and reports are filed. The supervisor will also manage emergency situations, coach and discipline staff, and maintain strong client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Security Officers, Lead Officers, and other personnel at client sites.
• Ensure all post orders are followed and established rounds are completed.
• File required reports and notify authorities and clients in emergency situations.
• Coach, discipline, and train personnel, documenting actions as necessary.
• Assist in submitting payroll and personnel information.
• Ensure adequate coverage of all posts and positions.
• Inspect posts, meet with subordinates, and outline tasks and responsibilities.
• Meet with client representatives to ensure security requirements are met and provide quality customer service.
• Perform supervisory duties, including interviewing, training, planning, assigning work, appraising performance, and addressing complaints.
• May perform the duties of a Security Officer as needed.

Requirements

• Valid OH driver's license.
• 2+ years of security/supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Ability to complete patrols.
• Strong technology skills (cell phone/computer).
• Ability to work independently.
• Experience with scheduling and performance management preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or G.E.D. and 2 years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in retail preferred.
• May require applicable state, county, and municipal license for Security Officers.

• Knowledge of security operations, patrol, inspection, and response services.
• Knowledge of supervisory practices and procedures.
• Ability to provide positive direction and motivate performance.
• Understanding of security and safety devices and controls.
• Ability to learn quickly and follow instructions.
• Ability to track and maintain schedule assignments.
• Strong interpersonal and customer service skills.
• Ability to maintain professional composure in stressful situations.
• Good organizational and communication skills.

Working Conditions

• May be exposed to stressful situations and challenging individuals.
• Must meet company standards for background checks, drug testing, and behavioral surveys.
• May work overtime without advance notice.
• Requires handling multiple tasks concurrently.
• Involves frequent sitting, standing, walking, and occasional physical activity.
• May be exposed to inclement weather or require the use of protective gear.
• May handle sensitive and confidential information.

Pay

Wage: $21.50/hour
