Security Site Supervisor
Position Summary
The Working Site Supervisor plays a vital role in the day-to-day operation of the assigned property. This position is responsible for supervising security personnel, ensuring contractual obligations are met, maintaining a safe and secure environment, and serving as the primary point of contact between SMI management and the client.
Primary Responsibilities
- Supervise the daily security operations of the assigned high-rise condominium community.
- Lead, mentor, and support a team of Security Officers.
- Work assigned security posts, including Gatehouse and Rover Patrol, as required.
- Ensure all officers comply with SMI policies, post orders, and client expectations.
- Prepare and manage weekly staff schedules and coordinate shift coverage.
- Maintain appropriate staffing levels and respond to call-offs and operational needs.
- Conduct post inspections and officer performance evaluations.
- Train and coach new and existing officers on site-specific procedures.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the client and SMI management.
- Complete daily activity reports, incident reports, and operational documentation accurately and on time.
- Monitor property access control systems, CCTV systems, visitor management software, and other security technology.
- Investigate incidents and prepare detailed written reports.
- Ensure outstanding customer service is consistently delivered to residents, guests, vendors, and staff.
- Respond professionally and effectively to emergencies and critical incidents.
- Promote a positive team environment focused on accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Minimum Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of security supervisory experience in a high-rise condominium or luxury residential community.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (required).
- Strong leadership, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Computer proficient with Microsoft Office, email, report writing, scheduling software, and security management systems.
- Ability to multitask and make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Florida Class D Security Officer License.
- Valid Florida Driver's License with a clean driving record.
- High school diploma or GED required; additional education is a plus.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and perform routine patrols.
- Ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays when operationally necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience managing luxury condominium security operations.
- Experience with electronic access control and CCTV systems.
- CPR/AED and First Aid Certification (preferred).
- Prior experience with employee coaching, scheduling, and performance management.
