Security Site Supervisor - Armed
About the role
The Armed Security Site Supervisor is responsible for supervising and coordinating the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer. This role acts as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer
- Act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers
- Serve as a supervisor, providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range
- Communicate staffing needs to Operation Manager, using the Requisition process and assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates
- Affirm that officers receive appropriate training, develop them in both technical and professional skills, and manage their performance (coaching, counseling, disciplining, performance evaluations, recognition, etc.)
- Affirm that employee grievances are heard with help from appropriate branch or region HR support employees
Qualifications/Requirements
- At least 3 years armed experience or prior Law Enforcement, Military, or Corrections experience
- Minimum 2 years Supervisory/Manager experience
- Clean driving record
- Available to work all days and shifts, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
- At least 21 years of age with high school diploma or equivalent
- Effective written and oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel and the general public in a professional and effective manner
- Licenses are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills
- Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client specific sites
- Ability to handle crisis situations at the client site, calmly and efficiently
- Able to communicate staffing needs to Operation Manager which may include using the Requisition process, assisting in identifying and interviewing quality candidates
- Able to work in various environments such as cold weather, rain/snow or heat
- Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds
- Climb stairs, ramps, or ladders occasionally during shift
- Stand or walk on various surfaces for long periods of time
Pay
$24 / hour
Schedule
Shifts may vary and include evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays.
