About the role

The Armed Site Supervisor will supervise and coordinate the delivery of quality services to an assigned customer, acting as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers. This role involves supervising site staff and providing coaching, recognition, and discipline within approved empowerment range.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate security services for an assigned customer site.
  • Act as a liaison between customers, Operation Managers, and security officers.
  • Provide coaching, recognition, and discipline to site staff.
  • Communicate staffing needs to the Operation Manager, including requisition processes, candidate identification, and interviews.
  • Ensure officers receive appropriate training and performance management (coaching, counseling, evaluations, recognition).
  • Address employee grievances with support from HR.
  • Handle crisis situations calmly and efficiently at the client site.
  • Utilize scheduling and billing software to produce and interpret reports (e.g., Scheduling Activity, Training Detail).
  • Work in various environments, including cold weather, rain/snow, or heat.
  • Occasionally lift or carry up to 40 pounds, climb stairs/ramps/ladders, and stand or walk for long periods.

Requirements

  • At least 21 years of age with a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, or security experience OR a college degree.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills for professional interactions with personnel and the public.
  • Licensing requirements as per state and/or local laws (must be obtained prior to employment).
  • Successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen as a condition of employment.
  • Intermediate computer skills to operate innovative, wireless technology at client sites.
  • Florida State Security Agency License No. B8500287 (or ability to obtain).

Pay

$20.00/hour.

Schedule

Full-time, Monday–Friday, 0600–1400.
